I'll never forget my first romance novel - Savage Surrender. Once I turned that first page, a whole new world opened up before me. I couldn't put it down. You might say that book changed my future. Suddenly, I knew I wanted to be a romance writer!

It became my mission to read every romance novel I could get my hands on so I could learn how to write like my favorite authors - Linda Howard, Jayne Ann Krentz and Nora Roberts. It's a miracle that I made it through high school, especially on the nights my mom caught me reading instead of studying.

I grew up in New England, but moved to the sunny South after finishing graduate school. Thank goodness there are direct flights back home! When I'm not working as a therapist for the Navy, I'm home with my family, writing like a mad woman.

I've traveled the world over exploring exotic locations for new story ideas and interesting characters. My favorite, hands down, is Paris. The romance, the architecture, the food, the shopping!!!
